What is the life expectancy of my accumulator?

The life expectancy of an accumulator is dependent upon many factors such as the number of cycles, temperature and pressure ratio. A bladder or piston style accumulator can be kept in use for 10-20 years so long as proper routine maintenance occurs (i.e. occasionally replacing the bladder or seals and checking pre-charge pressure).
