Selling Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics in Southern Region (BRH)
BRH SOP for Southern Region
Due to regional restrictions for BRH that restrict us from selling factory boxed items directly to our customers, the following process should be followed for any RFQ that comes into Airline for the Southern Region.
An RFQ comes in from a customer:
Outside Sales-
- Check to see if Crossing the BRH item to an available supplier is possible. These include Atos, Duplomatic, Hydac, Fluidyne and quote have a cross quote created if possible.
- Check to confirm a "Southern Assembly" does not already exist for the requested part, if one does provide that assembly to be quoted.
- Identify an available accessory, i.e. gaskets, connectors, etc. Stocked items should be chosen when possible, and Value of items should be minimal.
- Provide Inside sales with the BRH component to be quoted along with the identified to be included in the kit.
- Gather Assembly information from Outside sales, confirm that a "Southern Assembly" does not exist yet in the system that can be used.
- Create a New Kit following the Production Order Entering an Assembly SOP, Use the Bag an Tag Kit reference.
- The Kit Item ID will be made using the BRH RXXX Model number as "RXXX-ASSY" (Example "BRH R901487110" would be named "R901487110-ASSY")
- The Kit will Extended ID and Description will match the original BRH part in the system
- Enter the quoted BRH item and the included accessory (R900004823) as lines in the BOM
- Quote will be priced to match just the cost of the quoted BRH item when accessories of minimal value are added as kit materials by Airline. If accessories are requested on the RFQ and used for the kit, total cost will be valued at standard sell sum.
Inside Sales-
A Web Order is placed by a customer for BRH materials:
- Inside Sales will receive the standard New Order email that shows an order has been placed and needs to be approved.
- When it is Identified that the materials on the order are BRH Inside sales will hold on order approval and follow the same steps for kit creation as an RFQ including involving Outside sales on accessory identification.
- Outside sales may opt to hold the order and contact the customer to discuss alternatives if they feel it is in the best interest of the customer.
- Once an assembly is made and the ales order is updated with the new part number added and the original removed from the order, Inside Sales will approve the Sales order for processing.
