Regarding SY series DIN terminals, what is the difference between D and Y?

The appearance and dimensions of the DIN connectors are the same, but the pitch between the terminals is different. The pitch between the terminals for D type is 9.4mm and for Y type is 8mm. D type is mainly for Asia and America and Y type is mainly for Europe. (The pitch between the terminals is different from DIN terminal D/Y of VF series.)
