Managing shopping cart

Item quantities selected using the Quick Order Pad, or an item or category search, are added to your shopping cart. You can access your shopping cart anytime by clicking the link in the top right corner of any page. 

  • Shopping Cart displays the Item ID and description. You can click the Item ID to see the Item Detail Page for the item. 
  • Additional columns display the price per unit of item measure, the package quantity, and the requested quantity. 
  • To change the quantity requested, highlight the number and type in the new amount. Then click the “Update Cart” button in the lower right corner of the shopping cart. 
  • The next column shows the item’s availability, and the last column shows the extended price, which reflects the quantity requested. 
  • To remove an item from the cart, click the Remove column checkbox and “Update Cart.” 
  • Click the “Continue Shopping” hyperlink (lower right) to return to the website's homepage, where you can search for additional items to add to the cart. 
  • Importing a List into the Shopping Cart - The quickest method to populate a shopping cart with many items is to click the “Import CSV” link in the top section of the Shopping Cart screen. 
    • First, you must prepare a two-column tab-delimited text file with your item IDs and quantities. 
    • To upload the file, click the “Choose File” button and select the file or enter the file name and click Open. Then select the “Import!” button. 
    • The website will make the changes as soon as the file successfully uploads. However, files containing many items may take several minutes to complete processing. 
  • Once satisfied with your cart’s contents, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. 
  • There are also options to add the cart contents to a shopping list, but you must first log in to complete this action.
